Dr. Waheed worked for several years at the Cole Eye Institute at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation prior to returning to Pakistan where she served as an Assistant Professor in Ophthalmology and Director of Clinical Research at the Shifa College of Medicine in Islamabad, Pakistan. She is fluent in Urdu.
