NEW ENGLAND EYE CENTER AWARDS PRIZE
IN BOSTON
CELTICS "SHOT-IN-THE-DARK" PROMOTION
Navyman Wymon Anderson Sinks Two Shots While "Blind";
Wins $5,000 worth of LASIK Eye Surgery Care During Vision Week
BOSTON (March 25, 2008) - Wymon Anderson was a big winner at the Celts game the other night. Anderson, who's in the US Navy, sank not one but two shots while blindfolded as part of a New England Eye Center promotion called "Shot in the Dark." Anderson, who usually wears glasses, was rewarded with $5,000 worth of free LASIK surgery. LASIK is a procedure to reshape the eye's cornea to eliminate or reduce the need for glasses.

He first hit a free throw and then a 3-pointer while blindfolded with blacked-out goggled during a third-quarter timeout. The sailor was one of 300 servicemen, women and their families in the stands as guests of season ticket-holders who donated their seats for the event billed “Seats for Soldiers.”
