Specialties

Dr. Nguyen is available for consultation at our Boston location as well as many of our suburban offices. Dr. Nguyen has clinical interests in specialty contact lenses, ocular disease, pediatrics and primary care. In particular she works with Orthokeratology (Ortho-K), a specialized contact lens worn only during sleep, and providing excellent vision during the day.

She is a Fellow of the American Academy of Optometry, Consultant with the Accreditation Council on Optometric Education, member of the American Optometric Association and the Massachusetts Society of Optometrists.

Dr. Nguyen is a native of Houston, Texas, and was raised in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Upon graduating from Louisiana State University, Dr. Nguyen was accepted to the University of Houston College of Optometry (UHCO), where she received her Doctorate of Optometry and was awarded membership to the Gold Key International Optometric Honor Society. Furthering her commitment to education and advanced patient care, she went on to complete a Family Practice residency through the Southern College of Optometry (SCO) at the Bond-Wroten Eye Clinics in Louisiana. There she received extensive training in perioperative care, pediatrics, specialty contact lenses, diagnosing and managing ocular diseases, and minor surgical procedures of the eye and adnexa.

Dr. Nguyen participates in volunteer work with the Massachusetts Association for the Blind and Visually Impaired, and is an active member of her church. She is also an avid foodie, a sports fan, and loves crossword puzzles and trivia games.
